Public Radio Music Fly-In

Join us in Washington, DC, before our annual celebration of Public Radio Music Day!

Ahead of Public Radio Music Day 2023, the noncomMUSIC Alliance is hosting a Public Radio Music Fly-In for public radio stations on October 16-17 in Washington, DC. Join us for a day of cross-genre meetings and panel discussions at NPR headquarters, followed by a day of meeting with your lawmakers on the Hill.

On Day One, join us for a series of cross-genre meetings at NPR headquarters. This includes panel discussions, keynote addresses, tours, breakout meetings, and more.

4:30 – 5:30 PM: Optional Business Hours w/NPR Staff

On Day Two, join us for meetings on Capitol Hill with your federal lawmakers.

8:30 – 9:15 AM: Welcome Breakfast on Capitol Hill
9:30 AM – 4:00 PM: Lawmaker meetings with station leaders.*
5:30 – 7:00 PM: Evening Reception

*Meetings will be scheduled throughout the day based on Congressional availability. If you are an NPR Member organization and participating in their Orientation meeting on Tuesday, we will endeavor to schedule your Hill meetings in the morning before that event.

NPR Network Orientation and Business Meetings

We encourage leaders of all NPR Member organizations to attend the NPR Network Orientation and Business Meeting, taking place from 12pm, Tuesday October 17, to 5pm, Wednesday October 18, at NPR HQ in Washington, DC.

This gathering is an opportunity for us to come together and discuss the evolution of our organizations and audiences -- and the business strategies we’ll all create.

Attendees of the Public Radio Music Fly-In will be able to attend all programming of the NPR Network Orientation and Business Meeting.
